Nannette Rolle
Greetings! I'm Nannette Rolle, your dedicated ESOL teacher at Forest Park High School in Clayton County. I bring to you a rich experience of 27 years in the field of education, with a passion for enhancing student achievement through innovative Reading and Writing programs in Social Studies, and providing support in American Government.
My journey began at Bethune Cookman University, where I earned my degree in Elementary Education. My thirst for knowledge led me to the University of Miami, where I achieved a double master’s in Reading and Special Education, with a focus on ESOL. With a commitment to lifelong learning, I've earned over 15 certifications and am currently pursuing further education at the University of West Georgia to specialize in educational leadership.
I embarked on my teaching career in Florida, contributing to the state's first authorized International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. In 2007, I made what I fondly call "The Great Migration" to Georgia, transitioning to middle school Language Arts with enthusiasm and dedication. My journey has now led me to high school, where I continue to make a difference through ESOL.
Driven by a desire to shape the future of education, my mission is to empower the next generation of students and teachers. I believe in the power of service and have always found myself in roles that allow me to give back.
On a personal note, I'm an active member of my community, always ready to volunteer or lead a cause. I'm excited about the year ahead and can't wait to embark on this educational journey with you!
