Course Syllabus

Greetings, FPHS students, family, and community members:

I've worked in education for a long time; however, I feel new and energized with every semester start and with every new student I meet. Also I teach my classes differently. I haven't used the same lesson plan, ever, probably; though, I may use old ideas. I always custom-make my lessons based on my new students/classes. I am available for students and parents for any kind of communication needed to address a student need or help. I am one of those teachers who truly enjoys her job. I am energetic, patient, and knowledgeable in a vast area of education and life. I am available to share my knowledge and experience with my students. I believe in them and in the institution of education. Let's see how we can grow together and learn from each other!

Course Supplies:

Students must have notebooks/composition notebooks, loose-leaf notebook paper, writing utensils, color pencils, tissue paper for personal use, and any other school type consumables.

  2. Students will have homework on a daily basis.
  3. All students are expected to pass the state exam for American Literature, GMAS. All work done will be to grow the students' knowledge and skills to do well academically and personally.

  5. All students are expected to participate in and advocate for their own learning.
  6. All students are expected to respect themselves, each other, and all other persons working in the building.
